Welcome back to hell
posted on 12:27 01/10/2008 by idiot I can't say I'm happy about this. My solution to clients telling me "something is broken in ie6!" is to tell them what a security risk ie6 is, and that they should U-P-G-R-A-Y-Y-E-D to firefox (or ie7 at the very least) immediately if not sooner. But they don't. So I'm stuck trying to guess how the hell to fix something for a completely broken ass browser that I can't even run because of Microsoft's insistance to run their software on their operating system in a way contrary to both A) how it works for every other software developer and B) reason itself. Lucky me. Now I can. With Multiple IE you can run multiple versions of Internet Exploder next to eachother -- be it 6 because of clients that love security holes, 5.5 because you lost a bet with someone, or even lower if you really and truly hate yourself but believe death to be the easy way out. Enjoy, and remember: "Existence is suffering" « Back to main |
