Sam Adams Broken Glass Lager

Just read about this, and thought I'd pass it on to the beer drinkers out there in interweb land: Some batch of Sam Adams beer from a specific bottle plant has turned up with bits of broken glass in the bottles. Obviously a recall was in order, but did they really have to consult a doctor to determine that swallowing broken glass can injure you?
